The emerging global cyber legal landscape: we better up our game

Speaking at the Cyber Risk and Technology Resilience Summit, part of RiskMinds International, Lokke Moerel will speak on the emerging global cyber legal landscape, and what companies could and should be doing to reduce risk and ensure compliance in this space.

Regulators around the world are responding to what they perceive as a lack of cyber readiness of companies by issuing specific requirements as to cybersecurity, cyber risk management, but also governance requirements, like due board oversight, including direct liability of board members. This session aims to provide an overview of the regulatory interventions and provide board members with the insights and tools to facilitate the uptake of cyber risk as a strategic issue.
