ChIPs Global Summit 2023

The 2023 ChIPs Global Summit will take place from Wednesday, November 8th to Friday, November 10th. This annual summit will discuss cutting edge topics at the intersection of technology, law, and policy, as well as offering unique networking opportunities to connect with colleagues and friends.

Bita Rahebi, co-chair of the firm’s global IP Litigation Group and cross-disciplinary Intellectual Property Group, will be leading a breakout session featuring lead IP trial lawyers. The session leaders will discuss their path to the top and share practical advice to move past barriers and pursue a leadership journey. This session will take place from 11:10 am - 12:05 pm on Thursday, November 9th.

Deanne Maynard, co-chair of Morrison Foerster’s Appellate and Supreme Court practice, will be leading a breakout session on the Supreme Court. This session will feature discussion on recent Supreme Court cases involving IP, including Andy Warhol, the Safe Harbor Act, Jack Daniels v. Bad Spaniels, Abitron and more. This session will take place from 1:35 pm - 2:25 pm on Thursday, November 9th.
