AI and the Media

Morrison Foerster partner Joe Gratz will be speaking at the Practising Law Institute’s New York program, “Communications Law in the Digital Age.” This program will address the new challenges facing digital and traditional media and communications lawyers, particularly as they relate to rapidly developing areas in First Amendment, privacy, intellectual property, newsgathering, reporter’s privilege, access, international media, and AI law.

Joe’s panel, “AI and the Media,” will take place on November 8th at 10:00 am EST. The panel will explore how AI is currently being used, when works created by AI are copyrightable, and how the pending generative AI copyright litigation fit into the overall AI landscape.
