HKVCA Private Equity Fundamentals Course 2023

MoFo partner Maureen Ho and MoFo associates Julia Lee and Yilong Luo will speak about the “Legal Framework for Investing in Asia/China and Cross-Border” at the HKVCA Private Equity Fundamentals Course 2023 – Module 2: The Investment Decision, hosted by the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (“HKVCA”) on October 10, 2023.

This course will cover the following topics:

• Typical structure for PE investment in a China-based company;
• Typical exit options;
• Regulatory issues that may impact exits; and
• What Chinese company is “safe” to invest in?

Organized annually, this PE Fundamentals Course is comprised of seven newly updated modules that have been purposefully designed to provide participants with knowledge and the ability to understand the operation model of and the challenges faced by private equity and venture capital investors.
