Your HR Data Is Covered—by the New Privacy Law in California
The California Privacy Protection Agency will begin enforcing the CPRA with regard to employee data starting as early as July 1st, 2023. This webinar informs California employers what the CPRA requires for employee data, and how they can best manage privacy requests they may receive from their employees, job candidates, and former employees. This includes workforce privacy notices; rights to have personal information accessed, corrected or deleted; and rights to opt-out of certain employer uses of personal information. Join Morrison Foerster partner Kristen Mathews and of counsel Suhna Pierce as they discuss best practices when handling privacy requests from employees, job candidates, and former employees.
If you were unable to attend our recent webinar, please find a link to the on-demand replay, which will remain active through June 18, 2024. We hope it will provide worthwhile and practical takeaways for your organization.
