Global co-chair of Morrison Foerster’s Litigation Department, Christine Wong, will serve as a speaker at the American Bar Association’s 15th Annual Criminal Justice Section Fall Institute.
The racial reckoning, rising rates of violent crime, and ongoing pandemic in the United States continue to apply extreme levels of pressure on an overburdened criminal justice system. Legal professionals, educators, and regulators gather for this two-day event to work toward providing solutions to today’s issues that incorporate equity and fairness, while not compromising public safety.
Christine joins Acting Chief Emma Burnham of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division in Washington, D.C. for the Institute’s White Collar Crime Town Hall that will focus on enforcement priorities in the upcoming year. Panelists will discuss how the highly emphasized enforcement approach by leaders at the DOJ applies to antitrust, FCPA, fraud, and other white-collar investigations, including its impact on investigations of individual and corporate wrongdoing.
Join us for an exploration of innovative ideas that will help move the criminal justice system forward.
CLE Programs will be conducted on Friday - see the agenda for more information.
