Carrie H. Cohen joined the Leadership Council on Advancing Women Fall Council Meeting to lead a discussion on how the #MeToo movement has jumpstarted litigation and a call for more inclusive workplaces. Alongside an experienced securities litigator and a consultant focused on sexual harassment and discrimination issues, Carrie moderated a session outlining the primary risk factors for companies facing allegations of workplace harassment and discrimination, how organizations are addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion issues following related litigation, what private and public stakeholders are driving the development of more inclusive workplaces, recent legislature and regulatory actions that are holding organizations accountable, and proactive steps that organizations can take to eliminate cultures of harassment and discrimination before they make headlines. Carrie serves as chair of the firm’s Workplace Misconduct Investigations Task Force and as co-chair of the firm’s Investigations + White Collar Defense and State + Local Government Enforcement groups. She is also co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Strategy Committee.
