MoFo Pride Month Event in Association with AmCham HK: Success Stories in Promoting LGBTQ+ Initiatives

In support of Pride Month 2022, Morrison Foerster Hong Kong Partner B. Chen Zhu will moderate a panel discussion “Success Stories in Promoting LGBTQ+ Initiatives” jointly held by MoFo and the American Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong (AmCham HK) on June 14, 2022. The panel discussion will be followed by a networking session.

The panel of speakers, including Li Yen Fong of Citi, Amit Raheja of Johnson & Johnson, and Mike Kung of Goldman Sachs, will share their successes of implementing LGBTQ+ D&I initiatives across their organizations. The panelists will be taking a deeper look at the business implications of transforming the corporate culture of an organization and exploring how these initiatives can impact all stakeholders from consumers to employees.

The discussion will also address topics and questions such as:

• Career progression for diverse workforces
• Exploring how inclusive workforces impact the bottom line for businesses
• How to implement and adapt D&I initiatives across regions – illustrating from the individual level and from an organizational level
• What does diversity look like across different organizations and cultures?
• The role of allyship in forging diverse workplaces in Asia
