Rony has worked on a number of EU merger control cases, mostly involving high-tech industries. He recently handled the merger filings relating to Softbank's acquisition of ARM.

Representing defendants in follow-on damage cases relating to cathode ray tubes and rechargeable batteries in various juridictions in Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Represented SoftBank in its £24.3 billion ($31.4 billion) acquisition of UK-based semiconductor and software design company ARM Holdings. The transaction was the largest ever cross-border acquisition by a Japanese company (and the largest ever cash acquisition of a UK company).
