The American Lawyer magazine has selected Morrison & Foerster as one of the leading litigation practices in the U.S. in its biannual Litigation Department of the Year feature. We thank our extraordinary clients who entrust us with their important matters and provide us the opportunity to continue to distinguish our firm.
The “Litigation Department of the Year” is one of the most intensely competitive evaluations undertaken by The American Lawyer. They invite submissions from the 200 largest law firms. The editors selected Morrison & Foerster’s Intellectual Property litigation practice as one of three Finalists and the firm’s overall litigation practice received Honorable Mention. The American Lawyer recognized the firm for providing clients “the depth, breadth, and talent to win high-stakes disputes,” and noted that “with outstanding results for clients…MoFo has vaulted itself into the top IP ranks.” Morrison & Foerster has enjoyed a long-standing reputation for its prowess in multiple IP areas, including complex litigation.
“Taken individually and collectively, these accolades are exciting and encouraging and underscore the impact of our commitment to achieving exceptional litigation results for our clients,” commented Steven M. Kaufmann, chair of the firm’s Litigation Department.
