Motonori Araki is a partner of the firm’s Business Department. He has extensive experience representing major Japanese industrial, trading and service companies in their dealings in and with other Asian countries and the United States. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, intellectual property licensing and international dispute resolution, in a variety of industries including, among others, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.

Mr. Araki received his LL.B. from Chuo University in 1986, his LL.M. from Tulane University in 1988, and his J.D. from Georgetown University in 1991.

Mr. Araki is admitted to the bar of the State of New York, the United States Supreme Court and Japan (GJB). He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.
