Morrison & Foerster has a premier global Technology Transactions Group with specialist lawyers located in our 17 worldwide offices.  In Europe our technology transactions lawyers have extensive experience in all aspects of technology, media and telecommunications transactions and related matters, including: strategic alliances, partnering and joint ventures between tech-focused companies,  technology transfers, software and content licensing and services, systems and software development, integration and procurement, distribution and agency arrangements, e-commerce and new media, telecommunications, data protection and data security compliance, intellectual property rights and exploitation, competition law and associated regulatory issues. 

Our Technology Transactions Group also includes:

  • a specialist Global Sourcing Group that advises clients on all aspects of sourcing, outsourcing and offshoring of IT, technology and business processes;
  • a Global Communications and Media Group, focusing on telecommunications and mass media transactional, regulatory and competition matters; and,
  • a dedicated Life Sciences Group that advises clients in the Life Sciences sector on all strategic partnering arrangements, licensing transactions and other technology acquisitions and disposals.

Our Technology Transactions Group also works as part of an integrated team with our large Corporate Group on all aspects of corporate, financing and M&A work in the technology sector.
