Chris Norall has practiced EU law in Brussels since 1973. He specializes in competition and merger control law, counseling clients on compliance, and representing them in administrative proceedings (as defendant or complainant) and merger control proceedings. He frequently advises on distribution, licensing and joint ventures, especially in high technology industries.

Mr. Norall also has extensive experience in the field of EU and international trade law, and has advised several governments in GATT/WTO dispute resolution proceedings.

Mr. Norall was a co-founder of the firm of Forrester Norall & Sutton in Brussels in 1981, and became a partner of Morrison & Foerster in 2000.

He has published extensively on EU law competition and trade law in publications including the Common Market Law Review, World Economy , and the Oxford Yearbook of European Law .
