Suhrud Shah is an associate in the firm’s Business Department based in Morrison & Foerster's Hong Kong office. His practice focuses on advising private equity, funds-of-funds and venture capital funds with respect to private equity and cross-border M&A transactions in Asia. His expertise spans a range of industries including technology, pharmaceuticals and the Internet.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Shah worked for leading technology multinationals. Most recently, Mr. Shah worked for Moksha8, an emerging markets-focused pharmaceutical company backed by TPG. He has consulted for a leading U.S. private equity firm on deals in India and Southeast Asia and with Braxton Associates in Boston.

Mr. Shah received his B.S. (Honors) from Carnegie Mellon University and his J.D. from the University of Chicago. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
