Wang Yan is a consultant in Morrison & Foerster’s Beijing Office. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Wang worked at a leading Chinese law firm. His practice focuses on foreign direct investment and corporate law, and his experience includes: drafting documents for establishing foreign invested enterprises for equity interest transactions and for asset transactions; conducting due diligence for cross-border mergers and acquisitions; and doing legal research on various legal issues including intellectual property rights, taxation, labor and general corporate law.

Mr. Wang has received legal training in both the PRC and Australia. He graduated from China University of Politics and Law with an LL.B. and from the University of New South Wales with an LL.M. degree. He is fluent in Mandarin and English.
