Joanne Low is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Morrison & Foerster. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Low worked for a Singapore law firm associated with a well known US law firm, where she gained experience in various areas of corporate and commercial practice, including capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, corporate governance and employment related matters.

Her involvement in capital markets transactions includes the listing of several Singapore, Hong Kong and PRC companies, Singapore placements, Rule 144A/Regulation S placements and private placements. Ms. Low has also represented Singapore-based and Asia-based public and private companies in a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters, including drafting and advising on various forms of commercial agreements as well as providing general corporate law advice. Additionally, Ms. Low has advised on several banking deals, including the refinancing of a US$60 million loan for a leading global supply chain management services provider involving an American bank and security interests in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, USA, Taiwan, Switzerland and The Netherlands.

Ms. Low graduated from the National University of Singapore with a L.L.B. (2nd Class (Upper Division) Honors, Final Year Dean’s List Recipient) in 2001.

Ms. Low is admitted to practice in England and Wales and Singapore. She is proficient in English and Mandarin.
