Given the relative scarcity of IPOs in today's market, M&A is playing a more central role in planning for successful exits by CEOs, CFOs and their VC backers. Yet today's M&A environment presents unique challenges. This workshop will explore the emerging trends and patterns from the different perspectives of the major participants in a transaction (i.e. CEO of the target, acquiror, VC, lawyer, investment banker). The panel will discuss many of the important issues in M&A deals today.
