The goal of these system-wide forums is to foster a better understanding of how to work with UC and to showcase emerging areas of research that might present collaboration or investment opportunities to angel investors, venture capitalists, and company representatives with an interest in licensing UC inventions or forming UC startups.  In addition, these events provide an excellent opportunity for potential investors and company representatives to stay abreast of what is going on at UC within a specific area of research, and to network with researchers, sponsored research/industry alliances officers, and technology transfer professionals from across the UC system. – This event is by invitation only
