Marc Young is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office and chair of the firm's international Real Estate Practice Group. Mr. Young's practice covers a broad range of real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on real estate financing transactions. He has represented borrowers and lenders in connection with a variety of real estate-related financings, including loans secured by multiple properties, syndicated loans, subordinate and mezzanine financings, securitized debt and construction loans. Mr. Young has also handled the purchase and sale of different types of real property, the acquisition and disposition of real property-secured loan portfolios, and the negotiation and documentation of commercial leases and construction-related contracts.

Mr. Young has developed particular expertise in the purchase, sale and financing of energy projects. He has represented both buyers and sellers of electric generating facilities and has participated in significant domestic and international project finance transactions involving electric generating facilities. He also has advised owners of energy facilities in contractual matters.
